COVID-19 POLICY

COVID-19 has affected theater at every level, everywhere, for the past two difficult years: we have all felt it in some way as we have lost, yearned, and adapted. Happily, we have gotten to a point where we can return to live, in-person theater, and PST is thrilled to return after a long two years! We are following university protocol, and trying our best to keep up with community waves to make sure our patrons feel safe coming back to the theater. These policies are subject to change and will be updated as necessary.

Masking

STARTING JULY 8, masks will be optional for vaccinated patrons. Unvaccinated patrons must continue to wear a mask while in the theater.

The actors performing on stage will not be masked.

vaccination

All actors in the productions and board members have attested to being vaccinated.

When purchasing a ticket you may be asked to attest to vaccination status, the language of which is as follows:

Do you attest to being up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccines? Masks are optional for vaccinated patrons; unvaccinated patrons must wear a mask in the theater.

An individual is considered up-to-date after both of the below conditions are met: At least 2 weeks after the second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson. AND received booster if more than 5 months since the second dose of a two-dose series or if more than 2 months since a single dose of J&J.

If you are not fully vaccinated, you must wear a mask in the theater and we strongly encourage you to test yourself close to the show date and make sure you test negative before you arrive to see the show.

Social distancing

There are no current arrangements for social distancing regarding seats in the theater, though starting on July 8 seats in the very front row will be blocked off to better protect our actors.
