Auditions for Princeton Summer Theater’s 2016 company will be held on April 9th from 12-4pm, April 10th from 6-10pm in the Berlind Rehearsal Room at the McCarter Theater. Actors interested in auditioning should sign up for an audition slot online here and complete an audition form prior to their audition here. We are currently seeking actors to fill a variety of membership positions:

Full Company Members

Full company members are actors hired and housed for the duration of the theater’s season. As part of a repertory company, each actor has the opportunity to showcase his or her range in parts large and small, dramatic and comedic. Full company members will perform in 3 or 4 of the mainstage productions. Both on stage in leading roles and backstage hanging lights and building sets, the company members of PST work together to make every show happen.

Guest Artists

Guest Artists have the opportunity to work closely and intensively with company and board members for the duration of a particular mainstage show. A guest artist carries the same responsibilities and is afforded the same privileges as a company member, including room and board, but lends their talent to one play of the season.

Since its inception over forty years ago, Princeton Summer Theater (PST) has helped launch the careers of hundreds of young artists while bringing high-quality, affordable theater to the greater Mercer County area. Some of PST's notable alumni include Tony Award-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth (Chicago), Tony award-winning producer Geoff Rich (Avenue Q), and Hollywood veteran William Hootkins (Star Wars, Batman). PST is dedicated to training the up-and-coming leaders of the theater world and offers students and young professionals experience working in every area of theater production, from performance, to design, to marketing, and everything in between.
