Please feel free to get in touch with any questions you might have about PST or the 2018 season. We would love to hear from you!
We are generally available to answer phone calls from 11 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week. Please be patient when calling; we only have one line, and our small staff has many responsibilities around the theater. If you leave us a voicemail, we will return your call as soon as possible.
If you're interested in contacting PST for a press article, or partnering with PST for program ads or cross-promotional opportunities, please contact our Communications Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Princeton Summer Theater is located in the quaint and historic Hamilton Murray Theater (also known as "Theatre Intime", for the University student group that performs there during the school year), inside Murray-Dodge Hall on Princeton University's campus.
Our 189-seat theater is fully air conditioned after our 2014 renovation, and located within walking distance of downtown Princeton, home to some of the finest shopping and dining in New Jersey.

Because we have such a small staff, we are rarely available in person at the box office outside of performance days. If you'd like to stop by at another point, give us a call first at (732) 997-0205 so that we can make sure someone is there to assist you.
Update: Now, you can type "Princeton Summer Theater Parking" directly into Google Maps and be routed to University Lot 10!
There is generally no parking available on the Princeton campus. Free off-campus parking near the theater is available in Princeton University Lot 10 and Lot 13 (both behind 185 Nassau) after 5pm and on weekends. Parking on Williams Street is metered from the morning until 7pm all days except Sunday. Metered parking is also available on Nassau St., and there is a parking garage on Chambers St. near Palmer Square and a municipal garage on Spring Street.
For patrons with mobility concerns, there is short-term parking available directly outside the theater on Chapel Drive. Call University parking at (609) 258-3157 in advance of your visit to ensure availability.
The map below highlights the Spring Street garage, and Lots 10 and 13, along with walking routes to the theater. We look forward to your visit!
The easiest way to visit is to pull up Google Maps, select "Princeton Summer Theater Parking" as your destination, and let your phone, GPS, or computer print-out guide you! Typed directions are below:
From the North/East
From the New Jersey Turnpike heading south, take Exit 9 (New Brunswick) and follow signs for Trenton (Route 18 north, then Route 1 south). For first-timers, navigating to Route 1 south from this exit can be difficult. Take the first right after the toll booths, up the ramp and onto to 18 north. Immediately, shift to lane second from left and, less than half a mile from entry point, exit left (you'll be heading over a Route 1 overpass). Stay in right lane the exit to Route 1 south is on your right just beyond the overpass. For directions to campus and parking from Route 1, see below.
From the south/west
From Interstate 95 heading north from DC/Philadelphia, cross Scudder Falls Bridge into New Jersey (Interstate 95 becomes Interstate 295 several miles into NJ), and exit at Route 1 North (exit 67). For directions to campus and parking from Route 1, see below.
FROM I-95/206 NORTH
Another option from I-95 North is Route 206 North. Following Route 206 North, travel through Lawrenceville to Princeton. Where Route 206 meets Route 27, head right onto Nassau Street, the town's main street. If you are coming from southern New Jersey, we recommend that you take I-295 North (instead of the NJ Turnpike), exiting at Route 1 North.
FROM ROUTE 1 (NORTH OR SOUTH)
Exit at Washington Road (Route 571). If traveling on Route 1 North, make a left onto Washington Road; if traveling on Route 1 South, make a right onto Washington Road. Continue on Washington Road over a bridge, through one light, up a hill, and through two more lights. The next light is the intersection of Washington Road and Nassau St. (Route 27).
If you have entered through the main gates of Princeton University off of Nassau Street, follow the pedestrian paths past Nassau Hall. At the first road you hit take a left. Murray-Dodge Hall in which Hamilton Murray-Theater is a part will be on your right. If you are already in the Princeton University campus, simply ask anyone for walking directions to the Princeton University Chapel. If you are standing at the main entrance to the Princeton University Chapel the Hamilton Murray-Theater will be diagonally on your left.
